By cooling this plate in the refigerater or freezer allows you to set your fresh pressed rosin by placining your press paper with the rosin on top of the cold plate. Setting your fresh pressed rosin helps your product to cool down and lock in more of the delicate terpene flavours. This plate makes it easier to collect product by solidifing the rosin which helps the release from the press paper making it so much easier to collect. These collection plates can also be warmed to help soften product that is harded or become britlal and shard like.
